The Fall 2008 National Pledge Class Namesake Honoree is Past National President Wilfred Krenek! Brother Krenek joined the Alpha Rho Chapter at the University of Texas at Austin in 1971, and has served in numerous volunteer capacities through the years, leading up to serving as National Vice President from 1990-1994, National President from 1994-1998, and as the 75th Anniversary Committee Chair in 2000. He was awarded the National Distinguished Service Key at the 2000 Convention in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Read Brother Krenek's biography and challenge. The Boston 2008 Convention Committee has launched a new rideboard website for coordinating travel plans to the convention. Each region of the country where drivers are likely to come from has two sections: one for rides offered and one for rides needed. Brothers can post their name and contact information in comments on each post so that other brothers can find you to arrange your trips.
